Supervises accounting and financial reporting within the organization. •Administer and monitor the financial system in order to ensure that balances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner. •Assist with the preparation of the budget and forecasts. •Ensure that financial policies and procedures are followed. •Establish and maintain cash controls. •Monitor cash reserves and investments. •Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable systems in order to ensure complete and accurate records of all. •Analyze operating financial results transactions and obtain explanations for variances from plan. •Assist with any other periodic financial reports as directed. Support acquisition activities as required, as well as other special projects requested by management. •Other duties as assigned. • monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future needs. • liaise with auditor and tax firms for yearly preparation and ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. • Develop cost reduction and cost management initiatives. • Support development of concrete MIS. • Participate in strategic planning activity
This role demands a minimum of Ten years experience, with at least Five year being spent in finance management role. Have experience in all key areas of financial accounting & reporting including costing, payables, receivables, general ledger and FA,. Preferably, graduate qualified in a relevant discipline. Recognized professional accreditation (CPA, CMA, ACCA, etc) is a plus
