Description	HSE Officer - 20812 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Mission: - Support the Project Management in the successful implementation, communication, monitoring and reporting of the project HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) plan - Provide expert advice to support Project Management and report HSE performance to the Client and Project Management Tasks: - Comply with the company safety policies and procedures - Take a proactive approach to the implementation of the HSE culture within the staff and the workers - Coordinate with all engineer and supervisors in enforcing the construction health safety and environmental plan (CHSEP) and all supplementary procedures and programs - Daily inspection of the site to identify hazards associated with the work, if any, and initiate appropriate measures to overcome them - Inspect construction activities to identify potential hazards and advise supervisors/workers the risk factor involved with the particular activity and the corrective measures to be adopted - Conduct induction training to staff and workers - Report unsafe acts and conditions and initiate corrective actions - Conduct and participate in job safety meetings - Motivate the employees through safety awareness programs - Ensure that the employees are competent enough to carry out the work assigned to them in a safe manner and have undergone adequate training
Qualifications	Education: - University Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering Experience: - 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field - HSE Management experience - Project Management experience

Other Skills	- Report and investigate all near miss incidents and accidents and identify the root cause and take necessary steps to eliminate dangers and recurrence. - Ensure that the wastes generated from the work create minimal hazard to the environment and are segregated and disposed of - Prepare risk assessment for all activities - Preparation of HSE weekly and monthly statistics reports - Ensure that safe working practices were adopted Capabilities: - Good Communication skills - Good Presentation Skills
