•Assists in fundraising, public relations and student recruitment for the LL.M and IHRL Programs. •Responsible for the department events •Assists with proposal writing, keep accounts pertaining to the grants, liaise with the administrative budget offices that deal with grants and draft the reports to donors. •Servicing Department Grants •Maintain accurate updated statistics and vital information on students’ tuition, donors’ contributions, and overall department revenue, as well as the entrance and exit surveys. •Responsible of updating LLM scholarship allocations and coordinating with the Students’ financial affairs office and the development office. •Responsible for responding to incoming queries on Department email and updates the Dept. Website. •Responsible for the department publications (i.e. brochure, Posters,.....) •Handles all types of purchasing orders, and filing them •Controls the department stationary stores •Coordinates with the School re department computer inventories. •Gets information needed in the preparation of the annual budget. •Contacts various Departments in and out of university for maintenance and similar work •Organizes the students’ applications, and makes statistics of the newly enrolled students and current students and any other statistics as required •Prepares the students’ contact lists •Provide administrative assistance as requested. •Any other Business as requested by Chair and Assistant to Chair
Minimum education requirement: BA in any related discipline, preferably Masters or Diploma. Experience: 5-7 years related experience in administrative work. Skills: • Excellent command of English, and Arabic both spoken and written • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interact with a wide variety of persons ranging from professional scholars in the field, community of Business Enterprise and Public Officials to undergraduate students. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent organization skills and Ability to prioritize and work under pressure • Tact, diplomacy and discretion • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, Photoshop)
