- Boat manager should be loyal to the company and maintaining company standard procedures are in place onboard. - Check all guests needs and solve any problems during guests stay. - Collecting all ship information to control the work onboard and advice Cairo office back. - Continues follow up on all departments and make sure that all services are done professionally according to policy. - Checking the security log book to be aware of all known and unknown issues onboard. - Check reception paper work, log book and recoding guests’ passport numbers in police log book - Decide and follow up the cruise needs and to make sure that all needs are received onboard - Follow up on all ship Licenses and attend all tourism and governmental inspections onboard. - Follow up the ship operating situation and to be updated from the head office. - To be presented during the ship stores inventories and all other inventories and sign it all. - Supervise all daily work onboard and cleanliness - Make sure that staff are not presented in the guests’ areas - check F&B staff cleanliness and personal hygiene - Proper appearance for all staff in other departments (HK- maintenance - sailors ….etc.). - Check all staff meals, staff cafeteria cleanliness and staff rooms’ cleanliness.
- To be usually presented onboard and check everything by himself. - To be presented at all times in formal custom. - Maintain good communications with guides and tour leaders. - Boat manager should maintain the evacuation process plan is fully understood by all crew and all crew know how to deal in case of danger.

- Cooperating in F& B department representing F&B manager in supervising the food and beverages receiving on board controlling quality and quantity. - Regular inspections on kitchen before, during and after the meals at different times. - Need to make some sudden checks that HIIS and Cristal paper are filled on a daily basis each meal. - Boat manager should have courses in Hygiene and food handling to understand the hygiene concept and be able to cope with hygiene companies requirements. - Arrange with the F&B manager and quality control manager for F&B staff training with Cristal, HIIS and tourism training courses.
