1. Participate in data collection and job matching exercise in annual salary surveys. 2. Evaluate job positions, determining classifications and salaries. 3. Develop, implement, administer and evaluate personnel and labor relations programs, including performance appraisal, and employment equity programs. 4. Assess need for and develop job analysis instruments and materials. 5. Research job and worker requirements, structural and functional relationships among jobs and occupations and occupational trends. 6. Assist in preparing occupational classifications, job descriptions for evaluations and construct salary scales. 7. Provide advice on the resolution of classifications and salary complaints to employees. 8. Prepare reports, such as organization and flow charts, and career path reports to summarize job analysis, evaluation and compensation analysis information. 9. Administer employee insurance, pension and saving plans, working with insurance brokers and plan carriers. 10. Advise employees on compensation policies, procedures and classification programs. 11. Assist in preparing and maintaining personnel records.
Bachelors degree in any discipline (Business or Economics would be preferred) • Three - five years experience in Human Resources Function (preferably in compensation) • Strong mathematical skills (arithmetic, statistics etc). • Fluent English language skills. • Strong knowledge of business and management principles (Human Resources modeling, resource allocation, strategic planning etc.) • Critical thinking skill, judgment and decision making. • Customer and personal service orientation • Computer literate (Using Microsoft Office, email, Internet and statistics software)
