| Description | Leading the IT infrastructure section, and team by means of team leading skills. Ensure the availability and performance of the LAN/WAN. Ensure the availability and performance of sufficient disc space. Ensure proper function of telecommunications. Ensure the proper function of servers. Ensure the proper function of backup. Ensure availability of clients (desktops, notebooks, workstations). Ensure proper security for Company data. Ensure & coordinate working infrastructure on field sites (rigs, move of rigs). Plan enhancements of the infrastructure due to business needs in close contact with HQ IT. Plan the budget for IT infrastructure and coordinate it with HQ IT. Participate in and lead IT related projects as assigned by line manager. Support other IT activities and participate and initiate enhancement planning activities due to business. Coordinate & communicate recoverability activities in line with local 3rd parties, and authority. Work on and follow up ARS tickets regarding infrastructure. Keep contact with vendors & third parties. Report the status of IT infrastructure to the line Manager. Ensure that Company standards are used whenever applicable. |
