• Second level responsibility for the technical setup, operation, and support of equipment and logistics for assigned campus wide events. • Assist and the supervision and direct the tasks of the Operators in the design, setup, operation and support of technology at all events. • Share responsibility for CTMS event assets – both installed and portable. • Work with the Sound and Lighting Team Leader to design and configure systems to support event needs. • Assist in the development of equipment life-cycle repair and replacement schedules • Assist in future planning efforts related to the improvement and expansion of the audio, lighting and related technology in all event and conference spaces. • Assist in the development of training for current and future staff on the setup and operation of all audio and lighting equipment. • Develop documentation that will allow clients to use some equipment without direct support • Make sure event equipment is fully operational by coordinating repairs, maintenance, or replacement with appropriate service providers and vendors.
•• Operating in a multi-camera production videography environment. • Ability to configure sound, video, AV, computer presentation equipment needed to support instructional and presentation activities. • Ability to quickly troubleshoot and problem solve system malfunctions. • Operate multi-channel microphone mixers, processors and sound amplifiers. • Ability to work as part of a team • Able to perform in productions and related activities in the field. • Operational proficiency in all equipment and services described in Principal Accountabilities above • Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic skills • Ability to work well with service departments • Able to lift 25 kilograms (55 pounds) to a height of 1 meter • Computing skills as described in CTMS Staffing-Plan (Advanced)

Successful completion of Bachelors degree is required as is previous work in a related technical field. Certification by technical accrediting body is preferred. • Minimum of 2 years recent experience supporting related systems. • Operation of equipment in a multi-microphone environment using a range of wired and wireless microphones, mixers,speaker, and processors.
