| Description | • Assist in the selection of appropriate equipment and accessories to accomplish tasks. • Relocate and setup equipment. • Make complete audio and or video recordings of classes or events. • Prepare simple, uncompressed or processed recordings for submission to service requestor. • Collect, transport, return to storage, and account for resources used during work assignments. • Maintain accurate and timely records regarding work assignments. • Operate computing and presentation equipment for the duration of events as requested by the client and according to CTMS policies. • Report equipment usage for the purpose of service and replacement planning. • Report equipment or technical failures to proper person. • Communicates with clients directly. • Provide assistance to faculty in the use of the instructional classroom. |
| Qualifications | • Spoken and written English and ability to communicate with clients. • Spoken and written English to understand assignment schedules. • Basic field repair techniques using basic tools. • Ability to work well with other American University in Cairo service departments. Successful completion of a technical diploma degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of experience with projectors, computers and instructional settings. • Work in a related technical services area is desired. • Ability to evaluate a problem and pursue solutions. • Ability to work as part of a team. • Operational proficiency in various audio-visual equipment, accessories, and services. • Spoken and written English and ability to communicate with clients. • Spoken and written English to understand assignment schedules. • Basic field repair techniques using basic tools. • Ability to work well with other American University in Cairo service departments |
