DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Goals/Mission * To manage large projects for and drive business development of Siemens LLC Large Drives division across the Middle East region Working Partners/Contacts * Internal + Siemens Project Managers; Sales Force / Business Development Managers; Siemens Regional Offices * External + End Customers, Contractors; Channel Partners; OEM Tasks * Full responsibility for Siemens Large Drives sales through direct customer accounts for Project and Systems Business * Managing the bidding process for Siemens Large Drives projects * Analysing customer requirements and determining technical feasibility * Project categorization, planning and milestone definition * Providing regular project updates to the customer * Designing project risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies * Working with Siemens legal team to assess potential claims on the project * Managing and delivering all Siemens Large Drives projects within budget and to agreed timescales * Ensuring that all Siemens Large Drives projects are compliant * Selecting partners / contractors according to defined criteria, and monitoring their performance thereafter * Managing, coaching, mentoring and motivating project managers and project teams * Maintaining and presenting accurate and timely project reports * Conducting project closure activities and workshops
Education * University degree educated Experience * 8 years experience in Drives Systems related function * 3-5 years Project Management experience * Experience of working with virtual teams * 2 years sales experience * In depth understanding of the Large Drives marketplace – competitors; sales strategies; supply chain management * In depth technical knowledge of Siemens Large Drive systems

Mechanical Engineering
6 - 9 Years.
