Description

Provide up-to-date advice on guidelines Assist the Art Director in conceptualising high-level and commercially viable design and providing quality executions Brief and train designers Perform QA, ensuring conformity of designs to standard guidelines Ensure smooth flow of production Coordinate production queries with Client Workflow Controllers and Production Coordinators Ensure that templates in use by Designers and Design Associates are up-to-date and readily available Assist the Art Director in analysing and identifying skills gaps and conduct trainings to address these Conduct performance evaluations of direct reports, ensuring that the objectives are being met

Qualifications

University Graduate Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Mac OSX, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat, QuarkXpress, MS Office, Macromedia Studio, Freehand, as well as a thorough working knowledge of print production. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, CorelDraw and video production is desirable. Requires strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving, and presentation skills. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications Good interpersonal communication skills Strong command of both written and spoken English Strong attention to detail under pressure and ability to meet deadlines Structured, systematic working style Able to work as part of a team Experience managing a team Positive attitude and keen to learn Maintains composure and professionalism in a fast-paced work atmosphere Should have post-secondary education – either at the degree level or a relevant professional diploma or certificate
