| Description | •Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards for automotive. •Directs and coordinates activities involved in operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems for vehicles & trucks. •Perform personnel functions, such as supervision of workers, technicians, and other engineers. •May evaluate electrical installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate vehicle or system malfunctions. •Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment (automotive). •Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain electrical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles. •Investigate complaints, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measures. •Investigate vehicles failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew. •Review spare parts stock on the store to be sure that he have enough spare parts to repair any breakdown and also preventive maintenance activities. |
