Description	•Assists in the development, implementation of goals, policies, priorities and procedures relating to financial management, budget and accounting •Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports •Supervise monthly and end of year closing •Supervision and control of the general accounting functions. This includes the general ledger, payables, payroll, property, budget •Reporting and statistical accumulation. •Maintain professional banking relationships including negotiating facilities agreements and ensuring that such activities are carried out with planned time frame and in context with general financial plans, targets and interest. •Assess financial reporting systems, accounting, procedures and investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures.
Qualifications	•Bachelors degree in Accounting. •Minimum (10) years post qualification experience in accounting field in a construction company. •Good Computer literacy and knowledge of accounting packages. •Must be able to communicate articulately, clearly and concisely (verbal and written). •Confident personality, well presented. •Be aware of confidentiality and how to handle confidential correspondences and information. •Good Command of English Language.
