• Manages and oversees the planning, execution and reporting of internal audit activities and may assist or perform planning, testing and documentation of audit test programs and the reporting of audit results. • Develops or oversees the development of audit programs for audits of corporate functions using a comprehensive risk assessment that includes the identification and evaluation of existing control functions. • Ensures audit activities are performed and executed in accordance with department objectives, policies and standards and the annual Internal Audit plan. • On an ongoing basis, coordinates staffing resources and provides direction to staff. •Manages and carries out personnel actions regarding staff including, but not limited to scheduling, training, evaluating, coaching/mentoring staff. • Assists in administrative matters including the preparing of the annual department budget, and setting department goals and objectives. • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related disciplines or equivalent experiences. • A minimum of 7-10 years Internal Audit experience required, with at least 3 years of audit/accounting management experience (Big 4) preferred. • CIA, CPA, CFE or other relevant certification required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for all constituents from staff, to executive management and the Audit Committee. •Outstanding audit and risk assessment skills •Strong leadership and interpersonal skills that promote teamwork, staff development, and customer service. •Ability to perform risk analysis and identify types of internal controls. •Demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to develop, coach and mentor staff.
