Description | Oracle Database Administrator (ODBA) is responsible for the installation, maintenance and development of a database, so as to generate reports and develop required software in reference to business needs . Through his/her work he /she will ensure that data is clearly defined; users access data concurrently, in a form that suits their needs; and there is provision for data security and recovery control (all data is retrievable in an emergency).Also she/he will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing system performance, troubleshooting system and training end users |
Qualifications | 3 to 5 years Oracle DBA experience, with at least 2 years supporting ERP business applications, in both client/server & multi-tier environment - OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) or.MCDBA is a plus. - Familiar with business workflow, ERP packages and business implementations - Strong knowledge business analysis, database design and software development under Microsoft environment - Good knowledge of web & software development using programming tools such as ASP.Net or visual studio, HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, .NET, CSS, PHP, and others - Good knowledge of Microsoft IIS - Expert in SQL, with hand experience in linking developed application with Microsoft products and operating system using APIs - Good knowledge for best practices for publishing Oracle database to the Internet following best security guidelines |
