| Description | • • Direct and coordinate plant operations within Factory policies and procedures. • Maintain a clean and safe plant. • Establish and direct plant policies and procedures. • Responsible for plant production goals. • Establish and maintain a positive community relationship. • Foster a well-trained and motivated staff. • Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, & production. • Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules. • Schedule and conduct plant meetings. • Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings. • Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most effective return on assets • Initiate plans and processes to minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, & materials. • Assure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed our customers’ expectations • Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction. • Encourage use of new techniques and focus on fact based problem solving. • Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes. • Schedule stability that allows for maximum return on efficiencies. • Manage spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volume. |
| Qualifications | • • Mechanical Production Engineer • Experience in production for sheet-metal sheets industry • Preferred to have previous projects/experience in Lean Manufacturing • Direction of plant operations and community relations requires significant manufacturing knowledge as well as advanced interpersonal and supervisory skills. |
