• First level responsibility for maintaining operational status of all assigned classroom software and hardware • Responsible for the installation, major repairs, upgrades, and by-request installations of all CTMS software and hardware • Maintain system documentation • Advise and recommend system improvement up-grades or changes • Coordinate with departments, when necessary, to provide requested software in compliance with AUC policy and instructional needs • Recommend, identify, locate potential cost effective system enhancements • Develop upgrade, update, and replacement schedule • Participate in short and long range system planning • Provide some technical support of instructional technology when necessary. • Other related duties as assigned.
Successful completion of degree in computer science or related technical field • Working knowledge of related building & electrical codes. • Experience utilizing professional installation techniques.

3 - 5 Years.
• Ability to work well with service departments • Computing skills • Working knowledge of acoustic treatments and solutions desirable • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve system malfunctions. • Ability to design integrated software systems. • Ability to manage complex software designs and interactions. • Ability to work as part of a team. • Operational proficiency in all equipment and services described in Principal Accountabilities
