| Description | - Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability. - Performs testing procedures on semi-finished and finished product, and reports results with reference to standard quality specifications. - Collect samples of flakes and pellets and test for compliance to standard specifications. - Perform the standard testing of work-in-process. - Follow up on steps operational checks. - Check raw ingredients for maturity or stability for processing and finished products for safety, quality, and nutritional value. - Confer with process engineers, plant operators |
