| Description | Key Responsibilities: -The Forwarding Manager (FM) will lead and manage the operational teams of Airfreight, Ocean Freight, Trucking, Customs Clearance and Insurance -The FM will be responsible to establish operational excellence that delivers leading-edge service standards -The FM will be responsible to break down silo thinking, and improve cooperation and business flow between the current operational departments -The FM will be responsible to set priorities and over-all policies for the operational departments to streamline operations -The FM will be in charge of operational efficiency and productivity KPIs, as well as team staffing and development -The FM will spear-head cost-reduction initiatives and assess their impact on the business -The FM will also work with the operational department heads to develop new services, and ensure aggressive expansion of capabilities, in-line with business growth and market demands. |
| Qualifications | The successful candidate will: -Have a strong track record in all fields of operations of 8+ years. -Have a strong track record in leadership of multiple teams, and the ability to engage and motivate a wide variety of personalities -Be ambitious and self-driven, taking initiatives and working independently -Have strong communication skills to act as the escalation point and act as the primary mover towards external and internal parties |
