• Creating daily, weekly shipping plans to ensure availability of all products in all distribution centers. • Ensuring delivery of all exported products in time and within planned lead time. • Managing and negotiating with transportation providers activities. • Managing inbound logistics activities. • Preparation and managing annual logistics budget. • Responsible for the trucks and lifts owned by NFC. • Development of fleet administration standards and vehicle operating policies. • Preparation of annual budgets and periodic reports on operating costs. • Purchase of vehicles and equipment. • Control over maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposal of vehicles. • Direct fleet-related risk management training, such as safety and accident prevention programs. • Create drivers manuals or newsletters to keep employees informed about their fleet programs.
