The job of Software Application Tester involves understanding the scope of a project, creating a testing plan based on the parameters outlined during the project. The candidate would test every function and tool, searching for results regarding performance, reliability, bugs and any other failures. Detailed metrics need to be recorded and monitored to track the progress and outcomes of the testing process, finally communicating with his manager for test results. At the conclusion of testing, he may make recommendations, debug failures and perform other tasks required by his client The typical responsibilities, duties and tasks are: •Develop & implement Test Cases and Test Plans for the project. •Investigate potential defects and discussed them with developers. •Log defects during the test execution phase. •Report test results to the project manager participated in business requirements review sessions with the peers and business users. •Organize and participate in test plans walkthroughs. •Test the application in functional and system integration testing. •Write traceability matrix to reflect test coverage. •Prioritize test requirements and organized test cases accordingly. •Act as subject expert matter in the functionality assigned for the Project.
•Bachelor degree in IT or other related accredited discipline. •3+ years in software application testing with a1+ years of SharePoint development experience on enterprise initiatives. •Background/understanding of software development life cycle. •Demonstrated experience Windows Commands including: Registry Entries, Finding IP Address, Host Files, DNS etc. •Experience working with SQL Server. •MOSS 2007/2010 certificate is a plus.

•Experience with reputable multinational and multicultural organizations which demanding standards and work ethics is a must. •Strong documentation skills with fast, accurate and standard formats. •Effective communication, liaison and negotiation skills both orally and in writing, with diverse audiences and in diverse situations. •Good analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems; possesses an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategies •Assist all architects/account & project managers as and when required. •Team player within a rich development culture. •Excellent in creation of specification documents.
