1. Identifies, penetrates, and creates demand for Company’s services through obtaining new clients as well as maintaining existing clients 2. Builds positive customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers 3. Reports progress to general Manager on issues/opportunities and solicits support when needed 4. Performs long term planning to increase account penetration, customer satisfaction, and sales growth for long term results and achievement of sales targets 5. Provides monthly and quarterly projections of revenue and provides input to the development of the annual sales forecast. 6. Partners with marketing team to develop strategic customer relationship approaches. 7. Manages receiving briefs from clients either personally or through Account Manager(s), communicate client requirements internally, drafts proposals, presents ideas to the client. Once the client is satisfied with all aspects of the proposal, the sales manager prepares the contract to be signed with the client. 8. Follows up with the operations team to ensure the delivery of all event’s components as per client’s requirements. 9. Acts as a liaison between the client and the billing department to ensure the accuracy of the billing process to client after event’s closure.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred in business, sales, marketing - 5 to 10 years experience in the event management business, or public relations, media, or advertising agency, with proven track records in securing business and ability to sell and close deals, with a good networks of the types of clients that would be targeted in this field. - Experience in hiring/training a sales team to lead solid growth - Strong account management skills and ability to put together a business plan - High planning, administrative and analytical skills and ability to develop a sales plan that will accelerate business growth - Focused on developing new business opportunities that achieve monthly and quarterly planned forecasts - Advanced marketing knowledge and strong understanding of BTL marketing activities - Exceptional selling skills, as well as business planning and leadership skills. - Car owned
