General area of responsibility:: Through direct sales channel, sell and promote integrated Damco services including FCL, LCL, CHB, Airfreight and value added services in your sales coverage as per customer segmentation. Specific tasks and areas of responsibility: - Managing and developing the customer base, and selling the air, sea and value-added services of Damco. - Administering transportation contracts and negotiating carrier rates, fuel surcharges, and other charges locations - Researching and qualifying all sales leads to determine potential of securing - Meeting and exceeding the annual sales targets - Interfacing with the Global organization and the Key Client managers - Interfacing with the internal Maersk sales resources - Responding to communication with suppliers, customers and the global organization - Proactively identify opportunities in the market and secure new clients - Promoting the Damco services and Maersk brands - Assisting management in setting targets and direction of Damco - Adhering to systems, documentation and general administration as necessary for the department
