Description | Participate in checking cost plans, and arranging market testing as required. Preparing Procurement Strategy, Conditions of Sub-Contract , Back to back’ Contractual provisions . Reviewing drawings / specifications / pricing Managing / preparing complete, robust package tender documentation for issue to tender. Receiving tenders, and managing the post tender analysis process, Liaison with Client Teams, Design Teams, 3rd Party Commercial Teams as well as AFC compiling complete, robust Sub-Contract documentation, to reflect all of the above, based upon our contractual obligations / requirements. Expedite the execution and return of the documentation from the Specialist Contractor, including bonds / warranties and the like. ongoing advice & support to Operations / Commercial teams as to precisely what we have procured. Involvement in any ‘points of clarifications’ that may be required. Managing all of the above against the agreed Procurement Programme, and provide early warnings and advise to project / procurement management when ‘exceptions’ occur. Manage, chair and minute Procurement Meetings on a regular basis, (timescales to be agreed at project level subject to the stage of the project Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in line with AFC procurement procedures |
