| Description | The reputable Water & Beverages Co. has an opening for a Production Manager. The individual selected will be responsible for Manage the production operation within the guidelines established by plant and corporate policy in a safe, efficient, and quality manner. Essential functions of this position include: providing leadership and supervision for assigned production teams through effectively training, motivating, and communicating with team members to ensure that team performance meets or exceeds goals and expectations in the areas of productivity, quality, labor relations, safety, sanitation and cost savings. |
| Qualifications | Skill requirements include a 4- year degree in Management or a related business or technical field. The applicant must have 10 years Experience in similar position at either Water Beverage Industry or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Schweppes Experience in an environment that utilizes Lean Thinking and Continuous Improvement processes is a plus. The candidate must have strong leadership skills with the proven ability to set a vision, manage change, develop others, and strategically plan for continuous improvement. The successful candidate must also have demonstrated knowledge of accepted manufacturing practices, quality assurance procedures/guidelines, proactive safety awareness / compliance and strong cost control skills. Strong oral and written communications, planning and problem solving skills, leadership and team development skills are a must. |
