| Description | - Supervises financial reporting process in line with business requirements - Supervises the compilation of accounting reports for management & clients - Ensure that transactions executed are recorded and reported on timely basis. - Provide the preliminary approval of all vouchers. - Revise the authenticity and accuracy of received documents from internal and external entities for accounting purposes. - Reviews statements, invoices and vouchers - Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure fulfillment of all regulatory requirements as well as adherence to firm standards. - Management of external fund administrator relationships, including maintaining parallel records for cross checking. - Communicating & monitoring NAV publication with external newspapers/websites/following up on invoices. - Responsible for the Asset Management’s page on the company’s website (listing new funds, update prices with returns, upload new reports and coordinate with Internet providers. - Setup of bank/ brokerage/ custody accounts for existing/new clients - Setup investor accounts in the different markets. - Approve the tickets after checking that the details of trades and holdings against the invoice received from the broker the next day - Approve the payments made after verifying that the invoices received match the order sheet and client position on the system. - Review all custody reconciliation and cash reconciliations prepared by senior officer |
| Qualifications | - Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent education in Finance in addition to the following working experience: - At least 5 - 7 years of related experience and/or exposure in similar function and industry. - Strong knowledge base and technical skills in finance and accounting. - Computer literacy and knowledge in MS Office and accounting application software. - Communication skills and ability to work in teams |
