Assist in coordinate of the overall PR activity plan with the Advertising Agency for all of SCCT commercial events like press conferences, media monitoring and press releases. Assist in the preparation & verification of press releases to be unveiled to media/magazines/ website etc. Monitor SCCT competitors PR events, coordinate with management for interviews with various media houses. Responsible for monitoring terminal user lines PR activities, and also act as media intelligence between departments, head quarters and the lines. Assist in preparation of sales promotion and advertising materials by regularly maintaining a database of all terminal requirements, allocation of Advertisement & Promotional materials, maintaining materials dispatch list and ensuring the timely delivery of such materials. Provides secretarial support at the times of meetings, general correspondence handling, preparation of activity schedules, regular follow up on pending issues and hotel arrangements etc. Coordinate and compile material for the terminal newsletter from departments, conduct interviews, write necessary columns, articles. Responsible for preparing the entire layout and design the newsletter and liaise with the printers to execute the same and release the letter within the prescribed time period. Assist the department to periodically define standards related to department activities and maintenance of the same.
Requires completion of a basic college degree and specific training in office administration procedures Requires at least One year of progressively more responsible administrative work experience,preferably working for a manager. A high level of understanding of office procedures is essential. A general understanding of basic business practices is essential. Must have excellent knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation and basic math. Requires excellent computer skills, including keyboard and all associated software. Must have basic organizational and planning skills, so that work flow is managed efficiently and accurately. Must have a high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point and other related applications. Must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to handle matters of company business with confidentiality and integrity.
