Description | •Sizing and specification of rotating equipment, materials handling and specialized mechanical equipment required for a copper smelter and refinery •Estimate quantities and costs •Prepare, and follow up on, tenders and purchasing from subcontractors •Review technical plans and documents from suppliers (shop drawings) •Reviewing HVAC system design, checking final CAD drawings •Reviewing plumbing system design and calculations, checking final CAD drawings Preliminary estimation of mechanical requirements. •Managing the projects, design implementation, coordination, design review, calculations, and drawings preparation shop drawing for all HVAC work, plumping work and fire fighting system . Review contractor Submittals, RFI & Design for HVAC. • Plumping system and fire fighting system. & Constructing and Design ventilation and air- condition |
Qualifications | •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering •3 to 15 years of relevant experience •Member in good standing with the « Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers » or the Equivalent •Must be familiar with international and Egyptian engineering standards and codes of practice and their application to a heavy industrial plant in Egypt or the Middle East •Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Excellent knowledge of ASHRAE Standards. •Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, •Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of French, an asset •Familiar with 2-D and 3-D drafting system, an asset |
