The purpose of this job is to support and assist the Social Solidarity Program Manager in achieving the Program goals and objectives through planning, organizing, and implementing the Program different projects and activities. S/he will be responsible for following up the different activities included in each project’s plan, compile projects reports, and provide technical assistance to field staff in implementing program activities and report on these activities in the appropriate way. Develop projects budgets and monitor program expenses and identify areas or variances and report them to the Program Manager. S/he will supervise the work of different governorates’ supervisors and their daily activities -Follow up and monitor the work of each governorate supervisor -Compile different projects reports to support the development of the Social Solidarity Program progress reports. This including data analysis, challenges and opportunities, and corrective action plans as needed -Develop the activity planning for the seasonal distribution project and elder feeding project in coordination with field offices and governorate supervisors -Liaison with key program partners to monitor the implementation of the activities and reporting of the progress -Liaison with Procurement and Finance departments on the program procurements and payments -Support development of new initiatives and projects within the program including program design, budgeting, and monitoring plan
Required: University Degree Desired: Diploma in Management; Degree or certificate in development or rural communities. Required: Three to five (3-5) years experience in a position with similar responsibilities related to providing program management Desired: at least 3 years experience in a leading NGO, preferably multinational NGO or any community development program with focus economic and agriculture development or rural development Evidence of sound experience in program implementation and follow up with program activities, especially Livestock, dairy, veterinary, or micro and small enterprise projects
