Description: The Web Designer is responsible for managing the layout, design and creation of web pages for the corporate Internet site and Intranet.  The successful candidate must possess strong technical and design skills, work closely with Corporate Marketing on branding on creative directions and be comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities.  Will work hand-in-hand with the Web Development team to create standard CMS layouts and templates for data-driven, module pages.  The ability to “hand-code” HTML, experience with Search Engine Optimization/Search Engine Marketing or responsive web design is a plus. 

The ideal candidate is customer focused and able to communicate effectively with business users.  The candidate can take ideas and concepts and transform it into consistent web designs.  User experience expertise is desirable.  Creating designs that inspire and meet both business and user goals is important.

Responsibilities:

·       Good execution of graphic design principles; layout, composition, color theory and typography.
·       Hand-code or clean-code HTML – ability to troubleshoot and resolve web issues.
·       Design original graphics and create web pages from the initial mockup in Photoshop.
·       Prepare artwork files for external and internal websites, marketing collateral, color palettes, typography, and interface elements.
·       Develop original branding, packaging, print collateral, publications, catalogs, sales promotion, direct mail, and trade show materials.
·       Design of HTML email and landing pages for marketing campaigns.
·       Manage company brand and style guidelines to support consistent visual identity.

Requirements:

·       3-5 Years Web/Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
·       Experience with web standards and the creation of sites compliant in browsers and smart devices.
·       Advanced skill in Windows-compatible applications:  InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, PowerPoint, After Effects, Flash, 3D software.
·       Experience with XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP skills.
·       Well-organized, work effectively under deadlines, and manage multiple simultaneous projects.
·       Ability to take direction to meet creative and business needs.
·       Strong understanding of implementation technologies and how to design with limitations.
·       Extreme attention to detail and consistency.
·       Experience managing video files and players.
·       Strong time management and organizational skills.
·       Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
·       Adept at problem solving, analyzing information and choosing the best solution to solve business needs.
·       Ability to multi-task and work effectively under tight deadlines. Others
