| Description | Monitor and log IT equipments movement using control forms (Assets Transfer). · Follow up and perform written off IT Junk and Obsolete Equipment. · Ensure that all IT assets (Computers, Servers, Printers, etc) are updated and matching Oracle asset system. · Issuing all IT requisitions (Asset, Direct and Service) and following up the status with purchasing and warehouse. · Monitor and log results of preventive maintenance for PC’s at EDC Cairo Head Office and at EDC rigs. · Monitor, manage and follow-up IT hardware maintenance. · Prepare and submit weekly status log to IT superintendent. · Provide PC desktop support for all users at EDC Cairo Head Office. · Arrange visits to EDC Rigs. · Carry out installation of software when necessary. · Ensure that the IT store-room is clean and tidy at all times. · Monitor and maintain agreed levels of IT stock items (toners, cartridges, CD’s etc.). · Update the most recent version of Kaspersky anti-virus software on all Rigs’ PCs. · Preparing and Configuring EDC on Loan equipments according to IT policy. · Assist in planning for required IT hardware and software. · Ensure that all IT software licenses are up-to-date and remove any illegal and non-business related software. |
| Qualifications | Bachelors degree, specialization in Information Systems/Computer Science or ample experience. Cisco network and Microsoft MCSE/MCSA certifications preferred. |
