Description
• Interpret periodical operating results and make specific recommendations to management.
• Act as immediate contact with the company's independent external and internal
• Supervise the maintenance of the company general ledger including timely reconciliation and review of specific accounts
• Manage all local taxation requirements that affect the company, and ensure appropriate returns are lodged on time with the relevant authorities
• Communicate with the company’s International Treasury department guidelines in managing local borrowing and cash management requirements of the affiliate.
• Participate and co-ordinate the development and maintenance of local financial policies and procedures compiled from time to time
• As a host division key co-ordinator, set up and maintain regular meetings with division’s management
• Ensure that all activities related to the function comply with relevant acts to ensure legal demands and ethical standards are complied with.
• Manage the BPCS System Software and data integrity in order to troubleshoot system problems and take corrective actions with the area IT.
• Handles the monthly financial reporting to the company’s quarter in Chicago with compliance to the company’s procedures.
• Effectively communicate with all levels of staff and interact and work with management/employees to promote teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental legislative requirements, policies and procedures and serve as a role model to all employees by demonstrating full support of the company’s occupational health, safety and environmental programs.
