Urgently Needed for Immediate Hiring:
Location: Egypt
Service Validation Specialist

• Responsible for
– Define and execute Operational Acceptance Test cases
– Plan and align Operational Acceptance Test execution
– Ownership of OAT environments and ensure that OAT environments are fit for purpose
– Deployment, configuration, integrating and testing of new software onto Vodafone Global Services Platform
– Troubleshooting of complex issues in a distributed production environment (root cause analysis)
– Liaise with technical teams within the Global Hosting Center regarding production issues / architecture review
– Deployment and Maintenance of operational monitoring solution
– Production service reporting
– Support environment design (prod, near-live, pre-prod, test)
– Environment incident and problem management
• Key Deliverable
– Operational Acceptance Test: Test case description, test case results, OAT Report
– List of Known Defects identified in OAT
• Expected Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience:
– Able to quickly acquire broad operational knowledge and understanding of the VMT service and functionality
– Must have excellent knowledge of the following – Expert Windows admin, .Net, MSSQL db, network, security management (certificates, firewalls, load balance-rs, etc).
– Experience in operational acceptance
– Test definition and test management
– Project management experience
– Familiar with ITIL best practice
– A grounding in development in earlier career.
– Will have worked in a financial, telecoms and high performance 24/7 platform.
– Exposure and understanding on Unix platforms and Oracle databases would also be beneficial
