| Description | *Lead the development and evaluation of innovative packaging design and materials. *Influencing management regarding packaging cost saving strategies. *Provide the needed innovative ideas and creative solutions. *Maintain time line, methodology and framework for New Packaging initiatives. *Support Marketing in new products and promotions via supplier sourcing, negotiations, production, supply logistics and inventory. *Lead building the technical packaging capability in different labs *Provide technical guidance to assure packaging materials operated at best possible efficiency levels *Support Finance in cost and productivity tracking, cost management and periodical financial reconciliations *Establish secondary packaging quality tools, manuals and standard specifications *Ensure the fitness for use of all packaging material design and performance according to PI supplier qualification protocol. *Develop the package utilizing the technical support groups (Technical Packaging, ship test and machine trials) to achieve the intended end results. *Audit suppliers for supplier qualification. *Monitors suppliers quality performance and communicate quality KPIs to suppliers. Drives quality improvement. *Lead unapproved and conditionally approved suppliers and materials qualification and provide technical support in the selection and start up of a supplier (gap analysis and follow-up on corrective actions, packaging development, line trials and validations,...). |
| Qualifications | *4-6 years experience in Packaging management or packaging manufacturing *Very good English language to be able to communicate with the BU, Technical Centers & Foreign suppliers *Excellent computer skills (MS- office applications & MS - Project) *Very good experience in AutoCAD software to review package drawings. *Strong Technical Knowledge and engineering background with packaging materials specialization *Problem solving, decision making, results orientation and Self-starter *Ability to lead people and get results through others *The ability to manage multiple priorities *Technical background in packaging operations improvement, leading activities in operator skills and performance improvement, equipment reliability and efficiency improvement/ loss reduction *Demonstrate leadership skills, with ability to plan, organize and lead work teams |
